MedEquip4Kids is currently in the running to receive a big cash boost from the Tesco Bags of Help Centenary Grant initiative. To celebrate Tesco’s Centenary, the supermarket is holding a special voting round of its community funding scheme which will see grants of £25,000, £15,000 and £10,000 awarded to community projects.

You can vote for MedEquip4Kids in Tesco stores in Greater Manchester and East Cheshire from 1st October to 31st December and depending on the outcome of the customer vote, MedEquip4Kids will either receive £25,000, £15,000 or £10,000!  The funds awarded will go towards life-saving medical equipment, and play equipment for local hospitals in the voting area.

“During winter months our admissions of children with respiratory conditions increase, so these saturation monitors are vital to us being able to safely monitor children. They will allow us to monitor more children both continuously through their stay with us and at intermittent times during their visit. Staff will find the additional units make their jobs easier.”
