On Friday 11th September 2026, we welcomed 21 teams to Bramall Park Golf Club for our Annual Charity Golf Day, raising a fantastic £8,500 in support of MedEquip4Kids.

Competition was fierce across the course. Allianz, headed up by Henry Johnson, took first place, with OB Payments finishing second and Unsworth Funeral Services taking third. Congratulations also go to our Closest to the Pin winners, Chris Unsworth and James Gallagher.

A huge thank you to our Trustee Alan Tattler for co-organising the event, our first prize sponsor Specialist Risk Group, and to Andy Westall from Legal Protection Group for sponsoring a hole. We are also very grateful to our prize sponsors: Stuart Cosgrove fo Angela Beer, The Ivy, Chester Racecourse, Fairfield Golf Club, Davenport Golf Club, Bramall Park Golf Club, Disley Golf Club and Sapori Cheadle Hulme.

Thank you to every team and supporter who made the day possible, including Hall & Pickles, Champion Insurance, FGC Group, Specialist Risk Group, Stafford Rainwater, Travel Counsellors, Unsworth Funeral Services, Legal Protection Group, Trilogy Underwriting, I&N Site Services, Kennedys Law, Nicki Spibey, Bellwood Cards, Phil Stafford, OB Payments, Allianz, Victoria Marsh and Angela Beer.

Finally, thank you to Bramall Park Golf Club for hosting us so brilliantly once again. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who played, sponsored and supported the event — your generosity will help us continue improving the health and wellbeing of babies and children across the UK.

“This donation has enabled us to use more varied and useful therapeutic toys and games when working with children and young people with mental health difficulties, as well as using extra clinic rooms which are now more child-friendly. This has helped reduced anxiety about coming to CAMHS and meant that family therapy can be done. Both parents of a 10 year old boy can now attend with their 5 year old as the youngest child can play with our new resources in the waiting room or clinic space. The 10 year old benefited from therapeutic games about thoughts/feelings and we were also able to observe imaginative play for assessment.”
