MedEquip4Kids has been formally welcomed as a member of Bolton CVS, strengthening our links with the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector in Bolton.
Hummingbird Project Development Manager Catherine North and Project Co-ordinator Sonia Ebenezer-Bamigbayan attended the Bolton VCSE Forum, where they were presented with the charity’s membership certificate by Karen Arkwright, Senior Development Officer at Bolton CVS.
Bolton CVS works alongside voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations across the borough, helping them to grow, thrive and make a lasting impact. Its support includes funding advice, training, volunteering, organisational development and opportunities for local organisations to connect, collaborate and have a collective voice.
Bolton has always been an important part of our Hummingbird Project. Around a third of the project’s school delivery takes place in the borough, we work in partnership with the University of Greater Manchester, and both of our Hummingbird facilitators live locally. Through the six-week positive psychology course, pupils learn evidence-based strategies to support their wellbeing, including gratitude, kindness, mindfulness, character strengths, hope and resilience.
Catherine, who is also an Ambassador for Bolton, said:
