You know it’s a going to be a good day when @loubylouclown comes to visit!

We had the pleasure of welcoming Louby Lou, aka ‘The Magic Medic’ to Ormskirk General Hospital Children’s Unit, where she filled the ward with laughter and smiles.

Being in hospital can be tough for children and their families, so Louby Lou’s visits provide a wonderful break — not just for patients, but for parents and staff too

She doesn’t just lift spirits; she helps children build their confidence and resilience during what can often be a long stay or a difficult procedure

Thanks to your generous donations, Louby Lou is able to bring joy to children’s units across the North West. We’re so grateful for your support!

“During winter months our admissions of children with respiratory conditions increase, so these saturation monitors are vital to us being able to safely monitor children. They will allow us to monitor more children both continuously through their stay with us and at intermittent times during their visit. Staff will find the additional units make their jobs easier.”
