Get your clubs and teams of four ready as MedEquip4KIDS are hosting its annual Golf Day in aid of children’s physical and mental health!

Being hosted at Bramall Park Golf Club on September 12th and kindly sponsored by Specialist Risk Group, we’re featuring a day with a two-course evening meal, 18-hole round of golf, and a bacon sandwich upon registration!

All of the support, from the tickets to the on-the-day donations will go to MedEquip4Kids, the northwest’s local children’s charity! The help will allow us to continue to comprehensively improve the health of Britain’s children and young people through providing vital medical equipment and running our excellent schools mental health programme, The Hummingbird Project.

So, join us on Friday September 12th, at Bramall Park Golf Club, a mature parkland course with a unique history! The Club was founded in 1894 and redesigned in 1921 by Alister MacKenzie, whose list of famous courses includes the world-renowned Augusta National, home of The Masters.

It’s a beautiful 18-hole course in undulating parkland with fairways lined with mature native trees and is widely recognised as one of the most popular in Cheshire.

“The specialist treatment chairs are a new vital resource for the therapy team and nursing staff to be able to safely and comfortably sit extremely complex, dependant, critical care patients out of bed. The chairs allow us to begin the patient’s rehabilitation journey by providing appropriate postural support at the same time as pressure relief to allow the patient to build the muscle strength to hold themselves up against gravity. This allows them to begin to interact with their environment in a more normal way, enabling them to participate in meaningful activities such as meal times and activities of daily living.”
