What a weekend!

It's been a weekend to remember for MedEquip4Kids.

The floods in Hebden Bridge and Calder Valley were headline news, and yet our intrepid MegaHikers went ahead after a last minute safety meeting with the Mountain Rescue teams. The trekkers did us proud, with all teams getting round by 4.30 am. What an amazing inspiration you all were.

On Sunday Elizabeth Stones made history by carrying the Olympic Torch in recognition of her work with MedEquip4Kids. The beaming smile on her face was brighter than the flame! An experience she and her family will never forget.

And after two days of cancellations, our swimmers went ahead with their one mile swim across Lake Windermere on Sunday. You're a brave bunch!

Full story and pictures for each of these events will follow later, but in the meantime here are some pictures on flickr to remind you of what we've all achieved.

We hope you're all getting some very well earned rest!
