Students at Manchester Metropolitan University have hit on a new way to make friends and raise money for the charity all at the same time.
Their Speedmating event gave students the chance to get to know each other, find potential roommates and have a great night out.
Speedmating is based on popular Speed Dating events, but it aims to help students new to the city to make friends and settle in.
The event took place at the Ram & Shackle in Fallowfield, Manchester on Wednesday 29th February, and was attended by over 100 students. The speedmating event was followed by DJs and a live band.
Charity mascot Pip went along at the start of the event to say thanks to everyone who took part.
The group also held a quiz night for the charity, and in total have raised almost £1,000 for the charity.
Thanks very much to everyone involved with the events!
