Fundraising is a teddy-bear's picnic for Prestwich Liberal Club

MEMBERS of Prestwich Liberal Club have raised a fantastic £286 for MedEquip4Kids by raffling teddy bears at the club over the Christmas period.

The money was raised from raffles and auctions, with two of the winners offering to re-raffle their prizes to raise even more for the charity.
Money was also raised from a communal Christmas Card collection, and contributions to the DJ at Christmas events.
Sarah Suthers, Community Fundraiser for MedEquip4Kids said “we’re so grateful to all the members of Prestwich Liberal Club for their support in the last few weeks. They really have raised a fantastic amount of money with quite a simple idea.”
If you think your club, workplace or group could take part in our Guess the name raffle please get in touch. It's a really easy way to raise £60 for the charity, and would make such a difference to sick kids in your area.
