Our loop volunteers make all the difference!

A MASSIVE THANK YOU to all the volunteers and sponsors that made last week's Lancashire Loop Cycle Challenge such a success!

To Edinburgh Bicycle Co-operative for sponsoring the event, meaning that all the money raised can go straight into helping children's health projects in the North West.

A special mention too for Starbucks, whose staff gave up their time to support our cyclists and provide top-quality coffee and refreshments to all the participants. You were all great!

Thanks too to Burnt Tree Van Hire. By donating vans for the weekend you helped support all our cyclists and kept the charity's costs down, meaning even more money could be used to help fund medical equipment.

A huge thanks to the friendly ladies of Slaidburn and Chipping WI groups, and thanks particularly for the fabulous cakes on offer. They certainly lived up to all expectations. We really do appreciate all your efforts.

Thanks to Sport Sunday photography for coming along and capturing the event on camera, and for donating 50p from all photographs sold to the charity.

And last but not least, to our volunteers on the day, Neil and Angela, for driving the support van on the 50 mile route, and to Jim and Sandra Hall. Sandra yet again was in charge of the refreshments and did a fabulous job at Cockerham Village Hall. Jim, as always, was out and about on the route, monitoring the cyclists' progress and keeping everything running well. Jim has been involved in the event since the beginning, six years ago, and the loop wouldn't be the same without him!

Thank you so much to you all for making the event such a success!
