Pupils from Bury Grammar School Boys have raised more than £2,000 in just one day in aid of MedEquip4Kids.
The school, in Bridge Road, Bury, held its annual Charities Day and pupils in Years 3-6 spent the day taking part in sponsored activities, including obstacle relay races. They also experimented with their creative side by having 'crazy hair' for the day.
MedEquip4Kids and Diabetes UK were each presented with £2,040.
MedEquip4Kids' schools presenter, Debbie Barker, said: "We would like to say thank you to all the pupils, teachers and parents at Bury Grammar School Boys for being so supportive to MedEquip4Kids and donating such a great amount of money. Donations like this really do make a difference and help us continue our vital work across the region." |
