MedEquip4Kids would like to say a big thank you to all the primary schools which took part in our Get Active with Pip programme raising £20,000 during the summer term!
Thousands of children from across the region learnt about the work of MedEquip4Kids from our schools presenters before taking part in Walk4Kids, a sponsored walk of their choice.
The majority of schools completed laps around the school grounds, but some went one step further with welly walks, fancy dress and even a Safari-theme!
MedEquip4Kids' youth fundraising co-ordinator, Rose Franks, said: "Get Active with Pip has been very successful throughout 2009/10 with primary schools really getting behind the charity. It has been fantastic for us to see some of the schools be creative with their choice of walk but, no matter how they did it, every school has made a difference to our projects across the north of England." |
