An Altrincham-based property management company is taking team building to new heights by signing up for a sponsored parachute jump.

Styles & Wood, based in Manchester Road, has 15 employees taking part in Jump4Kids aiming to raise £5,550 for MedEquip4Kids.

Jump4Kids takes place on Saturday, October 9th 2010 when 35 people will all be jumping on the same day. Participants, including those from Styles & Wood, will jump out of the plane at 14,000ft near Grange over Sands freefalling 5,000ft strapped to a parachute instructor.

Anne-Marie Wedd, head of procurement for Styles & Wood, said: "At S&W we have an extensive community programme which supports our brief of Raising Aspirations for Young People. Wih the work that MedEquip4Kids does in the north of England, we were delighted when the chance came along to engage with them in this activity. Our colleagues have shown great enthusiasm for the cause and the event and we are confident that it will be a great success."
