Ever fancied the opportunity to take part in an underwater helicopter survival course? Now is your chance thanks to a pub's charity auction!
The Travellers Rest, in Beach Road, Thornton Cleveleys, is hosting a charity fun day on Saturday, July 24th with an auction and live music throughout the day.
The top prize in the auction is 10 places on an underwater helicopter survival course donated by Fleetwood Nautical College, worth £1,200 per person, along with the chance to win a weekend break in Ireland.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will be donated to MedEquip4Kids' Blackpool projects providing a new nurses' station and multisensory room.
Ken Pickering, landlord of The Travellers Rest, said: "We have never done anything like this before, so I am hoping our customers will support us on the day. We wanted to raise money for MedEquip4Kids as it will be used locally at Blackpool Victoria Hospital rather than somewhere nationally. It is about time some money was spent in this area!"
The fun day starts at 11am and there will be activities throughout the day and evening until 1am.
