Walk4Kids

Walk4Kids is a sponsored walk of your school’s choice. It can take place in the school hall, playground or on the school field and can take many forms, from fancy dress, adding obstacles, stations and circuits to walking sideways, skipping, hopping, jumping - the list is endless! Why not link the theme and distances to a country that is being studied in Geography at the moment?

Our schools presenters deliver a 20-minute age-specific assembly to the children about the work of the charity and how keeping fit and active can set them well on the way to a long and healthy life.

All the children then receive a donation form and envelope for their school’s Walk4Kids event, which they can take home to collect their donations from family and friends and return the money to school.

Two weeks later, the event will take place! The schools presenter will return to school to support the children, collect and count the monies raised, leave rewards for the children and invite the press along to the school to record the event.
